Product Description

This inactivated combination vaccine is formulated to protect pigs against two major enteric viral diseases: Porcine Transmissible Gastroenteritis (TGE) and Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea (PED), both caused by highly contagious coronaviruses.

TGE and PED are characterized by acute diarrhea, vomiting, dehydration, and high mortality in neonatal piglets, leading to significant economic losses in swine production systems. Effective control relies heavily on maternal immunity transfer, especially in early-life piglets.

This vaccine incorporates high antigen-content inactivated strains (WH-1 and AJ1102) to induce strong humoral immunity in sows, ensuring the transfer of protective antibodies via colostrum and milk. It also supports active immunization of piglets and growing pigs, reducing morbidity and improving survival rates.

The product is particularly suitable for breeding farms, farrow-to-finish operations, and integrated swine production systems, where control of neonatal diarrhea is critical.

Immunization Program

  • Sows (maternal immunity strategy):
    • Primary vaccination: 4–5 weeks before farrowing
    • Booster: 21 days later
  • Newborn piglets:
    • First dose at 3–5 days of age
    • Booster after 21 days
  • Other pigs (growers/finishers):
    • 2-dose program with 21-day interval
  • Active immunity duration: ~3 months
  • Passive immunity (via colostrum): protects piglets up to ~1 week post-weaning

Dosage & Administration

  • Route: Intramuscular injection (neck region)
  • Dosage:
    • Sows: 2.0 mL per head
    • Newborn piglets: 1.0 mL per head
    • Other pigs: 2.0 mL per head
  • Shake well and bring to room temperature before use
