Fowl Adenovirus Vaccine (FAdV-4, FAdV-8b, FAdV-11), Inactivated, prevents hepatitis-hydropericardium syndrome and inclusion body hepatitis in chickens. Immunity develops within 14-21 days and lasts 4 months. Administer 0.3 ml to chickens 2-4 weeks old and 0.5 ml to older chickens subcutaneously or intramuscularly.

Poultry Adenovirus Vaccine Description

This inactivated vaccine contains fowl adenovirus (Group I, Serotype 4) strain JH. Key features include:

  • Onset of immunity: 21 days post-vaccination

Immunization Program

Chickens

  • 2–4 weeks old: 0.3 mL per bird
  • Over 4 weeks old: 0.5 mL per bird

Route: Subcutaneous injection in the neck or intramuscular injection

Administration Notes:

  • Shake vaccine thoroughly before use
  • Disinfect injection site and use aseptic equipment
  • Use the vial on the same day after opening

Precautions

  1. Vaccinate only healthy chickens

  6. Do not vaccinate within 28 days before slaughter
