AI H5N1 Inactivated Vaccine Description

This inactivated avian influenza vaccine is formulated with two reassortant H5 subtype strains:

  • Re-6 (H5N1) – high antigenic match to earlier circulating H5 clades
  • Re-8 (H5N1) – improved coverage for evolving H5 variants

The combination provides enhanced cross-protection against multiple H5 avian influenza strains, making it suitable for regions with complex or shifting epidemiological profiles.

Avian influenza (H5 subtype) is a highly contagious and often high-pathogenic disease, causing severe respiratory symptoms, systemic infection, high mortality, and significant economic losses in poultry production.

This oil-emulsion inactivated vaccine induces strong humoral immunity, forming a protective barrier at the population level. It is widely used in routine vaccination programs and government immunization campaigns.

The vaccine is suitable for chickens, ducks, and geese, offering flexible application across different poultry production systems.
